After working in the fashion industry for years, Alexandra McNutt created their own design studio, Infinite Vessels, to explore and implement sustainable design techniques. Their ensuing knitwear line celebrates movement, fluidity, and earth-friendly fashion practices.

Through the design studio, created in 2020, McNutt uses their professional fashion prowess and innovative production techniques to create designs that have a positive environmental and social impact . Having studied regenerative agriculture and experimented with many natural dyeing methods, they are ever-mindful of the life cycle of clothing. They are also committed to using materials that support their small footprint manufacturing.

Their recently-released knitwear line, which features cheerfully-colored bike shorts, bralettes, and t-shirts that are made with movement in mind and aim to ascend prescriptive gender confines. They are also made with comfortable biodegradable cotton jersey knit and are manufactured locally in NYC.

McNutt says that they are looking forward to promoting and scaling the knitwear line in the coming months. They also hope to feature more mindful techniques and materials in future products. Their pieces can be found and purchased at Thank You Have A Good Day in Red Hook. They will also be doing a pop-up event in the coming weeks and plan to participate in markets and events around the city.
